It's difficult to blog when you're moving home

I haven't had much time to blog lately as we've just moved from our flat in East Finchley to a house in Borehamwood. I have to say that after 35 years, it's a relief to be out of London! I'm now wondering why it took us so long to move. Yes, London is a great city to visit or work in, but to live in???? Sky high prices, traffic jams, parking tickets, pollution, Ken Livingstone ... .. just to name a few of the irritations we're glad to have left behind.

Borehamwood and Elstree is a strange mix of suburb and country. Whilst part of Hertfordshire and served by the Herts police, it has a London dialling code. It's 15 miles from Central London but it only takes 20 minutes to get there by train, so you have the best of both worlds, being far but not too far from town. And then there's the countryside....we're only 7 minutes walk from green belt land.

There is however one thing I'm missing at that's the Eruv, but hopefully that'll be coming soon.
