A tale of two Britains...

Most of us are aware of the fact that we live in a democracy: one that is governed by human rights and the rule of law.

But there is another Britain, one in which none of the above apply. Today's Times report into physical abuse at Britain's Madrassas makes disturbing reading, but can anyone say they are honestly surprised? For forty years, we have been urged to "celebrate diversity" and this is the result: a state within a state where the law of the land simply doesn't exist, where the government either feels powerless to intervene, or has simply lost the willpower to do so.
