Rumsfeld's departure is long overdue

There's a great article by Andrew Sullivan in the Sunday Times that goes a long way towards explaining what's wrong with Donald Rumsfeld. For those of us who supported ridding Iraq of Saddam Hussein (never mind the weapons), it's getting harder by the day to justify a war that was supposed to rid Iraq of terror.

I wonder what it will take for Bush to fire him? A full blown civil war?

The Mennonites of Ontario, Canada

Today we went to visit Wellington County, South Western Ontario. The area is inhabited by several thousand Mennonites. They hold similar beliefs to the Amish who live on Pennsylvania, and don't believe in using modern technology. Dressed in their Sunday best, they don't look unlike our own Charedi community!
